it’s tea time
the changing of the guards at home has turned this bookshelf formerly full of dvds (belonging to the animator housemate) to a bookshelf full of tea cups and tea paraphernalia.
this is our colour co-ordinated shelving, built into a former doorway to the kitchen. on the other side there is a whole shelf overflowing with many varieties of tea. suddenly in the past week i have felt a need to give up coffee, and take up tea. i am drinking a pot of sydney breakfast or french earl grey every morning. no soy, no sugar. straight black tea. so not me. i think this display of beauty on the shelf is inspiring (although the pink set seems to be a french breakfast styled breakfast coffee and egg set for one, perfect for my current state of happy one-ness)
it’s a good time to be reflecting over cups of tea, marking essays and slurping hot vegan pea n’ ham soup on a rainy night.
