not chicken, fish

one of the local supermarkets sells a fish they like to call deep sea code. i prefer cod, but regardless of the name, it tastes like chicken when cooked.

tonight we had a collaborative cooking adventure; home fries canadian style (the oven did make the kitchen hotter than it was outside), deep sea cod in flour with sesame seeds (my current obsession) and a green salad with no fancy trimmings. fish and chips and salad, a glass of white wine and relaxing on the deck in the backyard. breaking all the rules of etiquette and eating dinner in front of the pseudo tv.
