i bought a coconut scratcher during the week… and then there were plans for a saturday-curry-night in, complete with coconut milk made from scratch (with the scratcher no less).

so here’s the vegetable curry (with cheese on top in this photo for some reason?), homemade roti, sweet potato and pumpkin roasted on the backyard fire, and the infamous eggplant salad.

and then there were the three birthday cakes: chocolate, chocolate and fruit. lucky really, it meant the 27 candles were equally divided between the three.
